The response to the Pocket Meadow Kit program was incredible. All of the kits were spoken for within minutes, and it is clear Pennsylvanians are eager to create pollinator habitats at home.
If you were not able to receive a Pocket Meadow kit, DCNR invites you to fill out the department's statewide interest form to help understand how many people across Pennsylvania would like one as DCNR works toward being able to offer them again next year.
You can learn more about converting your lawn to a meadow on DCNR's website.
Remember: meadows sleep, creep, then leap. Be patient and nature will reward you!
