St. Vincent de Paul School takes pride in supporting the needs of the whole child and seeks to ensure that all children are safe, supported, engaged, and challenged each school day. Research indicates that initiatives focused on improving aspects of students’ well-being in schools—such as addressing childhood obesity, preventing bullying, supporting students mental health, and restricting use of exclusionary discipline—have been found to be successful in improving student success and academic excellence. We have assessed our wellness policy as part of the USDA requirements. Below are the results of our assessment.

Information regarding the Triennial Wellness Policy Assessment is provided to parents through our Virtual Backpack communication. It is available on the St. Vincent de Paul School website under the Wellness tab.

All library books were due Monday, May 4th so that library inventory could begin. If your child has lost or damaged a book, contact Mrs. Kaiser. Please do not order a replacement copy. We use library bindings when possible, and those have to be ordered from a library supply company.
If you have any questions or concerns about what books your child has checked out, don’t hesitate to email.
Thank you for your helping us be good stewards of parish resources.

Annual Student Health Update Forms |
Thank you to parents who have completed and submitted the Annual Student Health Update Form already.
In addition to providing immunization and other updates, the form allows parents to authorize the school to seek emergency medical treatment for children if necessary and to authorize the school to follow its asthma/anaphylaxis protocol for a student if applicable. Such authorizations are essential in order for school staff to act appropriately in critical situations.
Form submissions were due by May 1, 2026. To complete forms for your children, log into your parent PowerSchool account, click on Forms in the left navigation pane, and then open and complete the health form. The form will need to be completed and submitted for all children individually.
Click here for the parent PowerSchool login page. Contact Ray Bentzen (bentzenr@svdpomaha.org) if you need assistance accessing your account.
Thank you for your attention to this important matter.
