Last week, we proudly celebrated National Public Health Week alongside many of you. It was a meaningful time to reflect on the strength of our community and the profound impact of public health. In these increasingly uncertain times, I believe public health can serve as a unifying force. We saw this truism displayed throughout the week from the Power of Faces photovoice exhibit, to Dr. Krieger's discussion of health justice, to the mental health panel at the Minority Health Conference.

From disease prevention to health equity, the scope of this work is vast and vital. I’m inspired by the dedication of our students, faculty, staff, and community partners who engage in this mission daily. Thank you for contributing to a healthier, more connected world. We are stronger together, and your work truly makes a difference.
