May 8th is a hard stop date on all summer hiring!
- If you plan on hiring summer graduate assistants, they must be hired in the beginning of April to allow ample time for processing.
-
If GAs are not hired by May 8, you will have to wait until July 1, when Workday launches to the campus.

| Graduate Student Award Applications Open |

The Graduate Student Award applications are open now for Summer 2024 and Fall 2024 admits. Encourage your students to apply. There will be 33 total awardees this year up from 20 in previous years.

GPDs are invited to table with us at the Southern Regional Honors Council conference, Thursday, 4/4 and Friday, 4/5, 8-5pm, at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. This is a great opportunity to recruit as there will be about 800 honors students in attendance. If you would like to table, please contact George Boston.

An email was sent to all Graduate Faculty about encouraging graduate students to submit abstracts to present at SOARS. Please help spread the word! Students that present at Research Week are eligible to be nominated for Outstanding SOARS Graduate Researcher. This comes with special recognition and a monetary award!

The Graduate School is no longer calculating the last 60 credit hour GPA for applicants. Programs that require this calculation may use the Slate GPA calculator tool. Instructions found here.

There is a new process for cross-level listing courses. Read more here.
- You can use SIS Reports to pull a list of eligible undergraduates who may be good candidates for express and accelerated programs.
