The summer is flying by, and that means we are closer to Move-In time! Now’s the perfect time to remind your student to check their class registration and maybe explore campus job opportunities. Our current student resources can help them get a head start on anything they might need before the semester begins.
Remember to follow official OHIO sources to stay up to date throughout the year, like the OHIO Instagram and Parent and Family Facebook page. You can also review University Safety Resources, like OUPD contact info or Cats Late Night Shuttle. Families can opt in to emergency alerts each year through this form.
You'll start receiving this newsletter from the Dean of Students office every other week again. Here's to an exciting academic year ahead!

In just over a month we'll welcome back any students that spent their summer away from campus as well as all of our new Bobcats. There are plenty of Welcome Week events already on the calendar like Movies on the Lawn, the Involvement Fair, Party at Ping and more. These events are open to all Bobcats, whether they are new or returning, live in a residence hall, commute to campus or live off-campus. We're counting down the days until August 20!

Move-in day should be memorable and stress-free. Save yourself time and headaches by shipping items to our partners, Storage Scholars, over the summer. They receive your packages, notify you, and deliver everything to your student's room before they arrive on campus. Students should sign up for their services prior to August 1.

Bobcat Move-In Crew last call |
There's still time to be part of the Bobcat Move-In Crew if students apply by August 1!
They can return to campus early at no cost and help welcome our newest Bobcats by assisting first-year students during Move-In on August 20-21.

Place orders by July 28 to guarantee a loft delivered and installed before move-in. Not sure if your student's room can accommodate a loft? Visit our bed loft website before you order.
