Your Class and the FAC

FAC by the Block

Check out this year’s upcoming exhibitions and theatre productions at the FAC — including a long-awaited reinstallation of the museum’s permanent collection in the  galleries and an irreverent reimagining of Sherlock Holmes on the stage.

How Can CC Classes Engage with the FAC?

Explore creative teaching strategies and tailored support for CC courses with Academic Engagement at the Fine Arts Center. Request a class session.

Facilitated Class Sessions

Work with FAC staff to design an experience tailored to your course goals and content. Facilitated class visits often include the following:

    • Guided Observational Exercises
    • Hands-on Art Making at Bemis School of Art
    • Museum Collections Access

Self-guided Museum Visits

Book time to bring your class to the museum on your own. The museum is open Wed.–Sat., 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Can’t make it during those times? Contact us to explore other options.

Student Matinées and Masterclasses

Catch a theatre production during class time with a student matinée or connect your students with the professionals who bring their talent to the FAC stage (such as directors, actors, choreographers, and more) with a Masterclass. Reach out for more information.

Teaching at the FAC

The FAC hosts CC classes for a limited number of blocks each year. Reach out to explore the possibility of teaching in a museum gallery or art school classroom.
