Third Sunday of Easter
Holy Eucharist, 8:30 a.m. & 11 a.m.
Please join us this Sunday, April 14 for Holy Eucharist at at either 8:30 or 11:00 a.m. The 8:30 service will be live-streamed and available on demand for later viewing. For Families: The nursery will open at 8:15 a.m. for ages 0–3 years, and the 8:30 service will include a children's homily for 3 yrs through 6th grade.
Formation Hour
Christian formation continues for all ages starting at 10 a.m., including children and youth. We will continue the Spring Adult Formation led by Fr. Josh called: The Church Finding Its Way in a City in Flux: In this class, he explores Paul's initial letter to the Corinthian church in its context, grasping his genuine concerns for the church and contemplating how his concepts remain relevant today.
April 7 - May 12 in Wallace Hall.

NURSERY PARENT BREAKFAST | THIS SUNDAY, 10 A.M. IN THE RECTORY
Calling all parents of little ones ages 0-3! Have you ever wished you had a little more time to chat with other parents you see at Nursery drop-off? Now you can! Come enjoy some yummy food and coffee and get to know others in your stage of life. Just sign your little ones into the Nursery and walk up to the rectory! No RSVP is required. JUSTICE CONVERSATION | TODAY'S URBAN SEGREGATION, APRIL 18
Despite massive economic and demographic transformations over the last 100 years, America remains a highly segregated nation. Join the St. B's Justice Ministries on April 18, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. in Wallace Hall to welcome Dr. Jessica Trounstine, the Centennial Chair and Professor of Political Science at Vanderbilt University, who will discuss the factors that contribute to the creation and maintenance of residential segregation along race and class lines in cities like Nashville. She will also cover the consequences of these patterns and some potential policy solutions.

THE BRANCH | THERE ARE A FEW SPOTS OPEN FOR APRIL 13!
If you're looking for an opportunity to help those in need in our community, there are some spots open to volunteer at The Branch on April 13, 9:30 - 12:30 a.m. You may help with sorting, stocking, packing food boxes, and distributing them to families at The Branch of Nashville's food distribution center. VOLUNTEER WITH SHOWER UP! | MAY 19, 1:30 - 3:30 P.M.
Sign up to volunteer with ShowerUp on May 19! Be a welcoming and helpful presence for those experiencing homelessness and anyone in need by providing mobile showers, hygiene resources, and personal care. Jobs include: managing the shower wait-list, handing out toiletries, general and shower clean-up, and providing beverages and food. This is a great opportunity to invite friends!

HOSPITALITY TEAM LUNCH | APRIL 21, 12:15 P.M. IN WALLACE HALL
Have you served on our Hospitality team in the past? Are you willing to help with Fellowship events in the future? If so, please join us for a light lunch on April 21 at 12:15 p.m. in Wallace Hall to thank our Hospitality volunteers and share what is upcoming for the 2024-25 program year. SACRED MUSIC CONCERT | THURSDAY MAY 5, 4:00 P.M.
On May 5 at 4:00 p.m., the Chamber Singers and special guests will host a concert of choral and instrumental music, featuring favorite selections from the services of the past year. A reception will follow in the garden. Childcare for 4 years and under is available with an RSVP by Wednesday, May 1 to nursery@stbs.net.

WOMEN'S WALK AT RADNOR | SATURDAY JUNE 1, 9:00 - 10:00 A.M.
Get out and stretch your legs and fill up on some fresh air. Join us for a walk and fellowship around Radnor Lake. We will gather at the visitor's center at the Granny White Pike entrance. Park at Radnor or Strong Tower Bible Church. Contact Wendy Baldwin with any questions.

St. Luke's Food Pantry April Items: snacks for children, canned tuna and canned meat, diapers and baby wipes, tooth brushes and toothpaste. Please leave collections for St. Luke's food pantry in the cabinet beside the doors to the gym.

Second Tuesdays for Men holds their next gathering, Tuesday, May 14. Every second Tuesday, the men of St. B's gather at M.L. Rose on 8th Ave at 5:30 p.m. to connect and eat! Come as often as you can. Email David with questions or to get on his reminder list.

Gracious and loving God, Thank you for the gift of this day: for the brilliance of the rising sun, for the ripples of the flowing river, for the music of the birds and the industry of the small animals.
