We need you! Become a Bayfield County 4-H Project Leader
Parents, family members, friends, & gaurdians of 4-H members: Please consider becoming one of our 4-H Project Leaders. Adult 4-H Leaders are the base of what makes our county's 4-H program successful. Subject expertise is not necessary, and training, meeting ideas, and resources are provided.
If you or someone you know is willing to meet with a small group of youth 4 or more times in the next year and help to guide them in their project learning, please get in contact with our 4-H office. We are looking for adult leaders in a variety of project areas such as:
arts & crafts, welding, vegetable gardening, tractors, swine, poultry, photography, & cloverbuds
4-H Leaders need to complete the following:
- Background check every 4 years
- About 1.5 hours total of county educator led in-person or virtual training OR combination of state online modules & trainings in the first year. 10 minute refresher each year thereafter.
