Help Keep the City for Champions Cup Trophy Downtown!

Come cheer on CC Women's Soccer as the Tigers take on Mountain West rival Air Force at the fifth annual City for Champions Cup on Wednesday, Oct. 28, at 6 p.m. at Weidner Field, home of the Colorado Springs Switchbacks.

The Mountain West leading Tigers are looking to keep the City for Champions Cup trophy in downtown Colorado Springs, and this rivalry matchup could have playoff implications. As a signature community event celebrating women's sports in Colorado Springs, it's a great opportunity for the CC community to come together and show our Tiger pride.

Admission is free for CC students, faculty, staff, and their families with a CC Gold Card.

Students: Get Ready to Rally!

The fun starts before the game! Students are invited to gather on Worner Campus Quad beginning at 4:45 p.m. for poster making and face painting before heading to Weidner Field.

4:45 p.m. Pregame activities begin outside Worner.
5:15 p.m. Complimentary shuttles begin departing from the south side of Worner, with return transportation available after the game.
6 p.m. Kickoff at Weidner Field!

Plus, the first 50 students will receive a voucher for hot chocolate and popcorn at the game!

Getting to Weidner Field

In addition to the complimentary student shuttle, fans can take The Zeb, a free downtown shuttle service provided by Mountain Metro Transit, which travels between the Ed Robson Arena area and Weidner Field.

Please be aware that Weidner Field enforces a clear bag policy. To help ensure a smooth entry into the stadium, plan ahead and bring only permitted items.

Clear bags must be no larger than 18 x 12 x 6 inches. A one-gallon resealable plastic bag is also permitted.
Small clutch bags or purses no larger than 6.5 x 4.5 inches are permitted.
Outside food and beverages are not allowed, with the exception of one sealed, unopened plastic water bottle of 17 ounces or less per person, or one empty reusable water bottle of 32 ounces or less.
All bags are subject to security inspection.

Weidner Field does not provide complimentary bag storage, so please review the requirements before leaving campus.
