If your student recently received a welcome kit in the mail, or if you’ve had a Kindergarten to College (K2C) account for some time, this workshop is for you! Learn how to maximize your student’s college savings and hear exciting program updates. 

 

  • Research Insights: Hear how San Francisco's K2C program boosts college access.  
  • Special Awards: Learn about available rewards, including $20 for viewing your K2C balance online, matches for making a deposit and contests to grow your savings. 
  • Maximize Savings: Discover how K2C works alongside 529 ScholarShare plans and check your eligibility for an additional $500–$1,500 in college funds from California’s CalKIDS program. 
  • Interactive Q&A: Get all your questions answered and learn how to make the most of your K2C account.

What is Kindergarten to College (K2C)? The City and County of San Francisco is proud to partner with the San Francisco Unified School District to automatically open a college savings account with $50 for every SFUSD student. Watch “A Future Worth Saving For” and visit www.K2CSF.org for the latest incentives and opportunities to build your college savings.
