St. B’s has a Creation Care ministry overseen by the newly-formed Creation Care Committee (CCC). Creation care is so much more than recycling and composting! The CCC is working on all sorts of ideas that impact our worship, formation, and facilities use—from training/education to bees to solar panels and community partnerships. Starting this August, St. B’s will participate in a year-long cohort with other Nashville churches organized by the international ecumenical network A Rocha.
One of the easiest ways for parishioners to get involved is through helping with waste collection at church events. Contact Gretchen Abernathy to learn more!

Would you like to show hospitality to the participants of our Catechesis Formation Course? We are looking for a few people to bring light meals or snacks for our weekend class July 26-28. Course participants will spend 90 hours learning about the spiritual development of children, so feeding them while they are on campus is truly a gift! Please see the Sign Up Genius here, or email Meredith with any additional questions.

Interested in Joining the Music Ministry? Summer is a great time to explore getting involved in the music ministry! We are always on the lookout for vocalists, guitar/piano/bass/string players, and drummers! We have a special need for drummers and bassists at this time. If you are interested in getting involved, or would just like some information about what that might look like, please contact Amy Wirdzek.

We join the Archbishop of Canterbury, the Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church and Christians around the world in prayer this week for the Anglican-run hospital in Gaza.
Eternal God, in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn but the sword of righteousness, no strength known but the strength of love: So mightily spread abroad your Spirit, that all peoples may be gathered under the banner of the Prince of Peace, as children of one Father; to whom be dominion and glory, now and forever. Amen. —Book of Common Prayer, pg. 815
