NEW PENTHOUSE - LEFAY RESORT & SPA DOLOMITI


Lefay Resort & SPA Dolomiti just announced a luxurious new Penthouse Residence, the crown jewel of the resort’s 21 Residences, featuring a private expansive terrace with heated jacuzzi hot tub and stunning views of the mountain valley. The 3,100-square-foot villa is ideal for families or groups with 3-bedrooms, 3.5 baths, bio-sauna, electric fireplaces in the living room and master bedroom, a fully furnished kitchen, bar and dining room. 

Lefay's luxury wellness resort in the Italian Dolomites is set in a national park with world-class skiing and hiking outside its doors, plus one of the largest spas in the Alps (at 50k sq ft) featuring an innovative approach that blends Classical Chinese Medicine with Western scientific research. The resort’s sustainable design and practices have earned it Green Globe certification and many other accolades.

NEW POOL, RESTAURANT & VILLA - CANAVES OIA EPITOME


When Canaves Oia Epitome opens for the 2023 season in April, the property will debut a second pool; as well as the new Omnia Restaurant specializing in the freshest seafood from the sea steps away; and a new 5-bedroom villa - the largest accommodation at the resort, with room for 14 guests.
Epitome, which opened in May 2018, is a departure for the brand, and unique to Santorini, in that it is set on a large property, built on flat land and welcomes families. It's the only property on the island that offers both sea and sunset views from the privacy of each of the 53 luxury suites and villas.

NEW HOTEL - ALMALUSA COMPORTA


AlmaLusa Comporta, the new, boho-chic sister property to Lisbon's AlmaLusa Baxia/Chiado opened in November just in time for Conde Nast Traveler to name Comporta "Portugal's Best Secret Beach" and the area one of the "23 Places to go in 2023." What many might not know is that the coastal spot is full of outdoor adventures - from e-biking past rice fields to stork sightings in a nature preserve and whale watching from a paddleboard - and that the AlmaLusa is the only hotel within walking distance to the beach and the only within the actual town of Comporta itself.

RENOVATIONS IN SICILY


Sicily is hot, hot, hot! (Thank you, White Lotus.) And J.MAK has not one but two great hotels on the beach in Taormina - and both have gotten major refreshes in the last year.
Atlantis Bay (top row) has newly renovated rooms (all of which are sea-facing!) and newly renovated public spaces while holding on to its super-unique aspects like an aquarium built into the lobby wall, and its construction into the volcanic cliff overlooking private Mermaid's Bay.
Just steps down the road, Mazzaro Sea Palace (bottom row), which has a more traditional, Italian-elegant decor and a sandy beachfront, will debut a new gourmet restaurant with tasting menu around its pool when it opens for the season in April.

NEW VILLA - SAINT JAMES PARIS 


You likely know that Saint James Paris is the only chateau-hotel in Paris surrounded by its own gardens. Fresh off a total redesign, completed Spring 2022, the hotel has been transformed with gorgeous new interiors, a new indoor pool, new Michelin-starred restaurant, new outdoor dining, and new landscape design – lot has been happening!
But the lastest news is that Saint James Paris has acquired a neighboring 5-story villa and transformed it into the Villa Saint James with 4 luxury, serviced apartments, each with one bedroom, living space and kitchen, which will be available for booking from March 10. (Two apartments can be rented with an extra connecting bedroom.) Some apartments have a terrace, and one has private access to the garden. They can be rented separately or as a whole for up to 12). And guests staying in the Villa have access to all services of the hotel (bar, restaurant, spa, terrace, bikes, valet parking, and more). pe.PR visited mid-renovation in December for a tour with Director of Sales Nicolas Egloff (pictured above).
