The Blues Women's Basketball team (27-2) closed out the season with a second round NCAA tournament appearance and handful of accolades. Ranked #5 nationally; regular season and Northwest Conference tournament champions; Player of the Year, Coach of the Year, Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-Conference awards.

Now in its second year, Whitman College’s new Brain, Behavior and Cognition (BB&C) program already has 44 declared majors—the first of whom will graduate this spring.

When he’s not teaching a class, Associate Professor of Computer Science John Stratton can be found collaborating on research with colleagues, directing the Whitman College Software Optimization Lab, advising pre-engineering students or helping lead the global software consultancy MulticoreWare.
