Fall Formation Classes Begin September 7

Adult classes explore the Mystics and the Gospels |
Fall Formation classes will begin for all ages on Sunday, September 7. For adults, we will kick off the season with two fascinating class options:
Why the Mystics Still Matter Now (Part 2)
Led by Greg Voiles, this class continues the journey begun in Why the Mystics Matter Now. Together we’ll explore the lives, practices, and teachings of Christian mystics – both within and beyond the Anglican tradition – and discover how their contemplative wisdom speaks into our own time and struggles.
In the beginning...
Why do we have four Gospels, and what makes each one unique? Join Fr. Josh and Dr. Ricky Shinall as they lead us through the opening passages of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, uncovering how each Gospel shapes our understanding of Jesus and the Good News for our lives today.

This summer we celebrate five wonderful, fun and formative years with Alysha Moroni as our Director of Youth and Family Formation. We are so fortunate to have Alysha working with our young people – leading, teaching, traveling, playing, sharing, guiding and being a supportive and listening ear to our youth members (and their families). So, when you see Alysha give her a huge thank you for all she does for St. B's – here's to another amazing five years and beyond!

Prayer for God's Presence
|
Visit us, we are despairing. Our faith is wavering, O Lord, come visit us. The hardness of the world weighs heavily on us. Sin keeps us away from your path. We are forsaken, forsaken, forsaken. |
