Greetings from Dean Kannan

May 29, 2025

As we close out an extraordinary academic year, we celebrate our college on the rise: ranked #1 among public undergraduate business schools in California and breaking into the top 100 nationally. We launched bold AI initiatives with Plug and Play, engaged students with the globally acclaimed NVIDIA GTC 2025 conference and hosted the largest scholarship celebration in Lucas college history. Our students earned systemwide wins, and our faculty received accolades from AACSB for innovation. We were moved by stories like that of 2025 MBA graduate Wil Quintero, a former wildland firefighter now forging a new path in business and social work. These moments define who we are — bold, resilient and just getting started. Join us on our journey!
