Weekly Happenings
Tuesday, May 5 at 7:30 PM at Westminster Presbyterian Church, Nashville
Thursday, May 7 at 7:30 PM at St. George’s Episcopal Church, Nashville
“Iconic: Timeless Works for Women’s Chorus” celebrates the enduring beauty of repertoire written expressly for women’s voices.
Featuring music by Brahms, Poulenc, Rheinberger, and Holst, this program highlights the clarity, warmth, and distinctive color of the Treble choir.
With the luminous sound of harp woven throughout the program, each work unfolds with added depth and shimmer. Rooted in tradition yet alive in the present moment, this is a program that lets these iconic works speak fully, just as they were meant to be heard.
A free will offering taken at the concert will benefit Nashville LAUNCHPAD, a nonprofit dedicated to creating safe spaces that affirm the rights and dignity of LGBTQ+ young adults.

Home Together Nashville Drive
Home Together Nashville, a non-profit that formed out of Westminster, is housing our first two families! We are trying to help them get settled into their new apartments with a small drive.
We are still in need of a few things. The list includes all items, but we are looking for cleaning and laundry supplies. A bucket with some cleaners, sponges  and rubber gloves is an idea. A clothes basket with laundry detergent and hangers is another idea. Stop by Target or Walmart and grab them, and bring them to the church, or order from the list and ship to us.
Please click the button below for a list of items needed for their new apartment. Thanks for your help and support!

Wish List
On May 3rd, Nueva Vida held its fifth annual Cinco de Mayo event at Second Presbyterian Church. Along with the food and festivities, people learned how the ministry is growing and working with more and more of our neighbors.
Our own Dr. Bob Sewell was acknowledged for his work with the food pantry.
Congrats, Bob!
