November 8: Week Three
Boundaries (Developing Human Habits)

Question for the week: What does the
incarnation teach us about boundaries? What
does technology teach us about boundaries? What
messages are the same? What messages are
different?

Overall Summary
The world is not lacking in conversations, books, position papers, movies, podcasts, political persuasions, and opinions on the effects of tech, social media, and AI on the human community. What *is* lacking is more conversation about the ways our relationship with a God who took on flesh might shape our understanding of what it means for us to be human, too... particularly as it relates to tech, social media, and AI.
Know Tech November is a four-week opportunity, six months in the making, for Westminster to join in conversation and shared curiosity about how our faith informs the ways we think about and use technology and experience being human.
As followers of an incarnate God, what does that matter to this conversation? No matter your age, this one's for you.

Pastor Search: The PNC Wants to Hear From You
Sunday, November 8 • 12:15-1:15 p.m. • Goodpasture Hall

The Pastor Nominating Committee continues its work in the listening phase of our search for Westminster’s next senior pastor. The group of eleven elected church members has been meeting with administrative, professional and pastoral staff to hear their perspectives, hopes, and priorities for Westminster’s future. As part of this process, we invite anyone who would like to share their thoughts to join us for an open conversation today at 12:15 p.m. in Goodpasture Hall.

If you will be able to attend, please RSVP here.
We’re talking the text!  Each Tuesday, the pastoral staff discusses the sermon text for the upcoming Sunday, and we publish it each Wednesday in our eBlast and our YouTube channel on Wednesdays. We invite you to listen in and hear our conversation about God’s Word.
