House GOP Cuts September Short |
The House will no longer vote during the final two weeks of September as previously scheduled, sending lawmakers home early ahead of a competitive midterm election. GOP leadership canceled the weeks of September 21 and September 28, which included eight voting days, per a notice from the office of Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.).
