NIHI SPA SAFARI
The Spa Safari™ Nihioka at NIHI in Indonesia's Sumba Island begins just after sunrise with a 90-minute trek through rolling hills, rice fields, and a traditional Sumbanese village.
When you arrive, cold towels and fresh coconut await you at a dining area cantilevered over a private natural cove, where a full breakfast is served. After breakfast, your spa therapist will show you to your private cliffside "Bale."
Once settled, you may swim in the ocean or begin your half-day of treatments – from body wraps and scrubs to 90-minute massages and an organic facial.
With the setting sun, guests are driven in open-air vehicles back to the resort, having experienced both adventure and serenity in equal measure.
(In lieu of the hike, guests may choose to be driven, or ride horses to Nihioka, for an additional charge.)
