DPP holds monthly info sessions, with the next on Thursday, December 14, at 1:00 p.m. Sessions occur every second Thursday of the month at 1:00 p.m. 

Starting with December payments and moving forward, providers will only receive payment for children whose enrollment forms are completed and whose enrollment start dates align with the payment period.

Providers are responsible for verifying a child's date of birth and Colorado residency during enrollment. If a child is deemed ineligible based on their date of birth and the provider's kindergarten eligibility date, it is crucial for the provider to unenroll that child promptly.

Please be advised that there will be no additional matching rounds/DAA for the remainder of this school year.

For families still in need of a seat, here are two available options:

Families can directly contact the provider they are interested in.

If you have available seats in the portal, inform the family they can join.

Reach out to your LCO to officially "accept" the student in the portal.

Families can reach out to the Local Community Organization (LCO) directly.

If you have open seats in the portal, the LCO may place and "accept" the student and then coordinate with you to confirm the placement.

On Monday, November 13, Early Milestones hosted a Quality Standards Stakeholder meeting. The webinar provided an overview of the draft of the UPK Quality Standards and a guideline for the upcoming rulemaking process. A recording of the video is available. 

DPP's offices will be closed beginning Friday, December 22, 2023, through January 1, 2024, in recognition of the winter holidays. Happy holidays, everyone!

Did you know that Denver families can apply for both UPK Colorado and DPP tuition credits? DPP tuition credits are available to ALL families regardless of income that live within the City and County of Denver and have a 4-year-old enrolled in a participating preschool program in the year before kindergarten.
