Update to Campus Mail Recharge Rates
Dear Colleague,
Campus Mail will initiate new Recharge Rates to align with increased operational costs on March 20, 2024. The update to our fee structure is based on the approval of the Recharge Advisory Committee per the results of their thorough evaluation of our operating expenses. Recharge Rates are revised every two years, however, due to the COVID pandemic, rates have not been updated in almost four years. The new rates are effective from March 2024 through FY25.
Campus Mail is a not-for-profit, self-supporting operation that provides mail services and solutions to UC San Diego departments, offices, and labs. We strive to keep expenses and operating costs as low as possible to minimize the impact on our clients, so this decision was not made lightly. The new rates will ensure we can continue to provide the best services possible, while also exploring ways to enhance and innovate the mail services experience. Concurrently, Campus Mail is conducting an audit of mail code records to ensure accuracy.
