General surgin’ warning.

We’ve all seen an increase in positive COVID cases within the Triton community over the past few weeks. Like you, we’re still learning how to navigate these fluctuations – and adjust our personal choices accordingly.

Healthy and whys. With Sun God on the horizon (literally it’s tomorrow!), let's brush-up on some upcycled, data-driven safety measures to keep each other festival-safe. First of all:

F = ma (sk).

Newton was on to something back in the olden days, am I right? When it comes to face coverings at large gatherings, Sir Isaac’s second law is first in our hearts.

Wear… When? It’s up to you for now, so please, stay smart. There’ll be thousands of people at Sun God, which means that each attendee is more likely to pick up what their fellow festival-goers are puttin’ down. As such, masks are strongly recommended.

In Sun God, we trust you.

We’re well-aware that a completely safe, in-person gathering of 15K-plus Tritons is aspirational – in VID-times or otherwise. But now, more than ever, we know you’ve got it.

Who, what? Your demonstrated commitment to the health and safety of your community for the past couple years is the reason that we’re able to host Sun God again. Beyond COVID-19 precautions, please be aware of these Sun God Festival safety considerations.

May 1 kick a little something for the G’s?

One may, especially if it’s a bad habit that’s detrimental to your mental health. There’s no time like the present, as Sunday marks the beginning of Mental Health Awareness Month. Take a look at some of the programming and resources that Student Health and Well-Being has in store.

Walk this May. On May 15, the Out of the Darkness walk aims to raise awareness and funding in support of suicide prevention among individuals aged 15-24.
