Preventing Back to School Germs

To keep our students and faculty healthy and safe, a friendly reminder that students need to be symptom-free of contagious illnesses (fever, gastroenteritis, etc.) for 24 hours before returning to school.

Birthday Books

The presentation of Birthday Books to the library is a special tradition at St. Michael’s.  Each year, K-8 students may choose a favorite new book from a selection set aside in the library or by special order through the librarian.  A bookplate in the front of each book includes the child’s name and birthday. Books may also be given in honor or memory of someone.

Please email Mrs. Wise at the Lower School or Mrs. Carpenter at the Middle School if you would like them to assist your child in selecting a September or October birthday book!

ERB Testing Week for Gr. 3-8, Sept. 30-Oct. 4

A friendly reminder that ERB testing for Grades 3-8 will take place September 30-October 4. More info on this testing will be sent out closer to the test dates.
  • As per our handbook, it may not be possible for students to make up missed achievement tests.
  • If at all possible, we ask that families not schedule out of school appointments between 8 a.m. and noon that week that may require students to miss ERB testing.
As well, 6th and 7th grade students will need to charge their Chromebooks each night and bring them to School every day for testing.
