RVRMA Board Announces New General Manager
At Wednesday’s regular monthly meeting, the Board unanimously approved the hiring of a new RVR General Manager: Ashley Lynch. Ashley comes to RVR after nearly 13 years in property management and hospitality in the Aspen area. For the past four years, he’s worked for Marriott International, managing the St. Regis Aspen.
Ashley’s first day on the job at RVR will be on January 17, 2022. But if you’d like a chance to meet him before then, we’re holding a meet-and-greet on Sunday, Dec. 19 from 5 pm - 6pm, downstairs by the fireplace in the Ranch House. RVR Community Ratifies 2022 Budget
At Wednesday’s monthly meeting, the RVR Master Association Board announced the community has formally ratified the 2022 budget.
Following the Board’s unanimous approval of the budget at a December 1 Special Meeting, homeowners had the next step — voting on the budget as part of the ratification process. According to our governing documents, two-thirds of RVR’s 552 property owners (368) would have to vote no to reject the budget; if that didn’t happen, the budget is automatically ratified. Of the 189 homeowners who voted on the budget ratification, 128 were in favor of the budget, while 61 opposed it. That means the budget is ratified, and goes into effect on January 1, 2022.
RVR Property Owners who mail their payment will be receiving notification from our Accounting Department over the next week about what their monthly dues will be, starting in January. Those owners who are on auto-pay will automatically have their payment adjusted. If you want to see what your dues will be next year, click HERE to view the “Dues by Neighborhood Matrix."

RVR Golf Closed
for The Season
The golf course is now officially closed for the season and responsible public access is permitted on golf course property. Here is what you can and cannot do on golf course property this winter:
- Walking, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing is permitted. Bikes are not allowed on golf course property at any time, including cart paths and bridges.
- Dogs are allowed on property but must be leashed per Carbondale leash laws. Dog owners are responsible for their pet behavior. Please bring your own waste bags and pick up after your dogs. Please discard of waste in HOA receptacles, not golf course trash containers.
- Once there is sufficient snow, golf maintenance crews, as a courtesy, will groom public access cross country trails on the front nine.
- The driving range is open for sledding with helmets recommended and parental supervision required for children under 12 years of age. The use of the sledding hill is at your own risk so please practice reasonable safety.

Ranch House Holiday Schedule
’Tis the Season, for all who use the Ranch House, and for our team that works there.
Traditionally, the Ranch House is closed on the Christmas and New Year’s Day holidays. This year, those holidays fall on Saturdays. To give our hard-working team time with their families, and to honor their well-deserved holiday time off, the Ranch House will be closed the following days: December 24 and 25; December 31 and January 1, 2022.
We hope you join us in saying thanks to the Ranch House staff for all they do throughout the year, to make RVR the welcoming place it is.

The Boundary Association Board of Directors invites Boundary Homeowners to a Board Meeting on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at 3:30 p.m. Boundary homeowners can attend in person in the Ranch House conference room or via Zoom.

Fitness Rules
Please remember to practice good fitness etiquette when visiting the Ranch House gym.
Here are some key items to remember:
- Re-rack your weights.
- Do not drop your weights.
- Wipe down equipment after use.
- Use the cardio equipment for no more than 45 minutes.
- Be conscious of TV volume as to not disturb others
- Ask others in the gym before changing the TV station
- Wear proper workout atire. Shirt and shoes must be worn at all times.
- Absolutely NO sandals, flip-flops, street shoes, elevated pumps/heels or bare feet!
- No childern under the age of 15.
