Vacation Bible School 2022

Everyone had fun!

TONIGHT!!! Church family meal and game night @ 5:30 in the worship center to close out Gospel and Games. Bring your favorite game and come prepared to play! Parent/Guardian must stay this night.

Thanks to all our PHUMC family who made this Gospel and Games week a success. It was hot! It was fun! And it will be remembered by our kids as a time of learning, making new friends, and being surrounded by a loving church family.

Sunday, June 26 is our last Sunday for our “I’ve Got a Question” worship series. Special thanks to all those who sent in questions and to Rev. Ron Allison, Rev. Bert Felder, Rev. Richard Robbins and Brandon Jones who joined us in conversation each Sunday. May we never stop asking questions and seeking to grow our faith. As a way to close out this series, we have two opportunities to join in community and be in conversation. Sunday, June 26 @ 5:00 pm, bring a snack to share (drinks provided) and meet in the Garden Multipurpose Room for our pop-up summer book club using Brian McLaren’s new book Do I Stay Christian? A Guide for the Doubters, the Disappointed, and the Disillusioned. Then join us again in the Garden Wednesday, June 29 @ 5:30 for a conversation night around all we have asked, heard and shared during worship this past month. Drinks provided, but feel free to bring a snack to share.

Volunteers Needed at MadCAAP!!!

MadCAAP needs volunteers to help shoppers in their "Clothing Closet" on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Mondays of each month. If you can serve between the hours of 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on those days, please email them at madcaap@bellsouth.net or call 601-407-1404 and let them know!

Our June Communion offering supports Habitat's Women Build. We have pledged $1000 (so far we've raised $707). PHUMC's volunteer day for Habitat for Humanity Women's Build is August 13. This year's Women's Build will be in loving memory of former First Lady Elise Varner Winter.

Shift: Morning Shift – 7:45AM to Noon; Afternoon Shift – 12:45PM to 4PM, All Day Shift – 7:45AM – 4:00PM
