Hello! My name is Jack Tully, and I am a Sophomore Mechanical Engineering major from Flemington, New Jersey. I love sports, especially hockey and soccer. I also enjoy traveling and trying new things. I took this position so I could be in a great environment to help others by making resources more accessible, more understandable, and easier to navigate. On the Horizon - A Blackboard/Banner Integration |
GW IT is pilot testing a new integration between Blackboard and Banner. This integration will allow grades entered in Blackboard to be synced with Banner, eliminating the need for faculty to log in to Banner to input grades.
Although we don’t know when this feature will be rolled out campus-wide, here are a couple ways to prepare for the transition:

Check your grade schemas to make sure the letter grades match what is in your syllabus. The schema tells Blackboard which number grades correspond to which letter grades and this varies.

Set the correct column to External Grade, which denotes the final grade column that is shared with Banner
