Wine & Food Affair, Sponsored by Repour Winesaver...

We want to thank the folks at Repour for stepping in to help sponsor Wine & Food Affair. We feel their product is a GREAT fit for all of the virtual tastings wineries are doing. Customers can open multiple bottles at the same time, and taste along with winemakers in a virtual tasting, then use Repour to save the wines and enjoy them over the next few weeks. We will include their logo in our event material, we will include their product in the first 50 case orders for Wine & Food Affair, and we will have a link to sell more from our shopping cart. If you haven't tried Repour in your winery, now is the time. Check them out here. Repour Winesaver

Wine Road Rewards

On Sale Oct. 1-30
Redeemed by Nov. 30
Please let Beth know if you want to be listed as a winery or lodging that will redeem these rewards. Complete details are HERE

Winegrapes Included in USDA Coronavirus Food Assistance Program

The USDA announced that winegrapes will be eligible for the second round of the Coronavirus Food Assistance Program (CFAP2), which is designed to provide direct payments to growers who have suffered financial losses during 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. Wine Institute worked closely with CAWG and other grower organizations to advocate for the inclusion of winegrapes in this critical program. More information on the program and how to apply for assistance can be found here:

Women Winemakers: Personal Odysseys

Spend an evening with Lucia and John Gilbert, professors and lovers of wine, discussing their recently published book and longstanding research project “Women Winemakers: Personal Odysseys.” The Sonoma County winemakers featured in the book, Margaret Davenport, Zelma Long, Shelly Rafanelli, and Carol Shelton will join them and share stories from their professional journeys. “Women Winemakers” captures the passion, courage, and talent of the women who are successfully making their way in what has long been a male-dominated field.

Please register for the event: https://events.sonomalibrary.org/event/4587571
Thank you to all of our partners, we apprecate their support during these trying times.
