Need access to NYU Wi-Fi while you're visiting campus? Your student, when connected to NYU Wi-Fi, can quickly and easily grant you access via the NYU Wi-Fi Guest Sponsor Portal. The process takes just a few minutes and offers enhanced security to further protect our networks. Step-by-step instructions. Remind your student to also review their own NYU Wi-Fi setup instructions before they arrive on campus since it can be a bit tricky.

Your student recently received a Welcome Weekend newsletter with information about their first two weeks at NYU. There will be a variety of opportunities to connect including their School Orientation, Marquee Events, Themed Hangouts, Affinity Spaces, Workshops, and Excursions to Explore NYC. Your student can access the full list of events on NYU Mobile.

We typically encourage parents and families to head back home on Sunday. This allows your student to begin forming relationships, explore the university, and attend the countless events and orientation activities available to them. 

Yes! During Welcome and Move-In, parents, families, and other guests may use NYU transportation. Visit our Welcome Weekend Parents and Families Events page and view the visitor guides for more details.
