Making an impactILR's mission thrives thanks to the generous support of our volunteers, donors, sponsors, and advertisers. We're thrilled to announce that Berkeley Square is again sponsoring our spring semester. In addition, they will be hosting both our ILR Annual Meeting and Ice Cream Social and an exclusive tour of their beautiful community for our members and non-members. Sign-ups for these events—offered back-to-back on Friday, May 9—will take place during ILR's normal semester registration. See catalog, pages 8 and 10, for the details.
Since 1997, we've been dedicated to making a lasting impact on lifelong learners, both locally and beyond. We express our heartfelt thanks to Berkeley Square and all our supporters for their continued trust in us as we work to make a meaningful difference.

Saluting our veteransJoin us for two inspiring classes honoring our veterans and their incredible stories. In Tank Battalion, we roll through the heroic history of the 743rd Tank Battalion, a lesser-known yet crucial force in WWII. We’ll follow their journey from the beaches of Normandy to the Battle of the Bulge, and across Europe, earning them the Presidential Unit Citation and French Croix de Guerre.
In our second class, Salute to Veterans: Hear Their Stories, veterans from various branches will gather to share personal experiences from their time in service—with each week focusing on a different topic—from humorous anecdotes to life-changing moments. Whether you're a vet or simply want to learn, this is a welcoming space for all.
TANK BATTALION 5 Tuesdays: April 1–29; 9:00–10:15 am Format: In person Location: Oxford, Boyd Hall, Room 117
A SALUTE TO VETERANS: HEAR THEIR STORIES 5 Tuesdays: April 1–29; 10:45 am–noon Format: In person Location: Oxford, Boyd Hall, Room 117

More Extraordinary TimesMatthew Smith, Director of Public Programs at Miami University Regionals, shares his latest blog entry featuring local filmmaker (and Miami grad) Tom Law. Law's documentary Capturing Life (1839-1869) is the first part of a projected three-part historical series on the history of photography in Cincinnati. Who knew the Queen City was at the forefront of photographic technology in the U.S. during its early days? A link to the film, freely available online courtesy of Voyageur Media, is also included in this blog post.
