Thanksgiving Holiday


Gobble! Gobble! A reminder that St. Michael's will be closed Wednesday-Friday, November 24-26, for the Thanksgiving holiday. Extended Day is also closed. 
Emails and calls received during that time will be addressed on Monday, November 29. Wishing all of our Dragons a safe and blessed holiday!  

Please Remain Vigilant

As you celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, PLEASE REMEMBER that your off-campus choices can affect the entire St M community. We urge you to continue to prioritize safe health practices (masks, physical distancing, hand-washing, limiting larger group sizes) so that we have the best chance of keeping our community healthy and our school doors open. 
If at any point during the holiday a member of your family feels ill or you believe that your family has been exposed to ANY kind of illness, please complete our COVID REPORTING FORM and keep your child(ren) home from school until contacted by Nurse Maben.

Major Dates Calendar Update

Our major dates calendar for the 2021-22 school year has been updated. Changes are noted in red.

MS Musical: Registration Now Open for Grades 5-8

Registration for grades 5-8 to participate in our spring musical, Seussical Jr., is now open. Grades 6-8 roles available for cast and ensemble and Grade 5 roles for the chorus.
Update: Rehearsals will be on Tuesday and Friday afternoons from 3-4:30 p.m. beginning in January.
Given our past overwhelming community support and sold-out shows, the musical will run APRIL 28-30 with four afternoon and evening performances.
Registration closes on Friday, December 10.

LS Fruit Challenge Winner

We are pleased to announce that the winner of the Lower School Fruit and Vegetable Challenge is....FOURTH GRADE!
Our Lower School students ate over 1654 servings of fruit or vegetables! The winning grade wins a fruit party.

Holiday Pop-Up Shop!

Our popular annual Holiday Pop-Up Shop is a perfect way to show your DRAGON PRIDE while picking up St M stocking stuffers and holiday gifts!  Our shop will be held VIRTUALLY this year. 

We will launch a special holiday website to take orders for ONE week only: DECEMBER 6-10. Supplies are limited so don't hesitate!

Purchased items will be available for parent pick-up via a ONE-DAY holiday "drive-thru" at the School on SUNDAY, DECEMBER 12. Additional details will be sent out by December 5. 
NOTE: APPAREL gifts should be ordered directly through our standard spiritwear website due to the wide array of sizes. The deadline to order to receive apparel items BEFORE the holiday break is December 5. Details on our NEW cold-weather items are below.

Check out the new cold-weather gear now on our spiritwear website! We have also added a polka dot logo design option.
NEW: For items with multiple logo options, you may choose the desired logo from the drop-down menu once you place the item(s) in your cart.
If your order is a GIFT, please note that under "Special Instructions" and we will hold the item(s) for pickup. Otherwise, items will be sent home in backpacks.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Given global supply chain issues, the deadline to order apparel items to receive them before the holiday break is DECEMBER 5.
We are also placing a St M belt order soon. Please contact Susan Curwood if interested.

COVID Reporting Protocol/Form


If someone in your family has symptoms, has been exposed, or is being tested for COVID-19, please inform the School  IMMEDIATELY IN WRITING via the COVID-19 Reporting Form linked below. The link is also on the School website.
Upon receipt of this information, Nurse Maben, St M's school nurse, will contact the family. The confidentiality of the diagnosed student or teacher will be maintained.  Please keep your child(ren) AT HOME until contacted by Nurse Maben.
