Welcome      Grow       Serve      Celebrate

This Sunday President and CEO of the Methodist's Children's Homes, Devon Loggins, will join us in worship to share a little bit about his work at MCH and the importance of our women's ministry spring project to provide welcome wagon baskets to every child who arrives at MCH. We have created a signup genius you can access by clicking here with a list of needed items. Purchased items may be placed in the bins in the foyer of either building by the end of May and online purchases may be shipped to Pastor Dawn's home. You may also give monetary gifts to our May communion offering. May communion offering to date is $1,022.
PHUMC welcomes Jessica Lauren Snyder, who joined us through the Sacrament of Holy Baptism on Sunday, as our newest member.
As Jessica's church family we will surround her with a community of love and forgiveness that she may grow in her trust of God, and be found faithful in her service to others and we will pray for her. Send a note of welcome to Jessica.
Send in your questions for the June Worship Series here.
Recently two individuals sent me questions about scripture and faith that had been floating around in their heads that for whatever reason, they didn’t feel comfortable asking in a small group setting. Thinking about these questions reminded me of some of my own questions. We all have questions. They come to us at different seasons of life and sometimes just randomly as we are just going about our day. This June as part of our summer worship, we will give space to ask the questions. Throughout the month of May you are invited to send in your questions. Please submit them by May 29. Then join us for worship in June as we dive into our questions. Worship will look and feel mostly the same but instead of a sermon a panel of 3 to 4 will reflect on your questions. I look forward to this time of worship and to muddling through the messiness of faith together. Send in those questions. You know you have them!
