Now:Review the information sent in the May 29 email from your advisor to schedule an advising appointment and complete Module 1 of the Summer Advising Module before you meet with your advisor.
Already met with your advisor? You can begin Module 2: Preparing for Registration of the Summer Advising Module.
Now:You can now look up your registration time ticket and identify any existing "holds" on your registration. Contact your first-year advisor if you see any "holds."
July 8:Confirm that all AP, IB HL, or SAT II scores are listed in "My Test Scores" within InsideND. If anything is missing, review the steps to submit score reports to ND on the AP Exam Credit and IB HL Exam Credit pages.
July 9 - 11:First-year advisors will host once again academic advising question and answer sessions via Zoom. These group sessions are a great way for you to prepare to register for courses in a few weeks!
July 10:Since you must register for a FYS 10101 (Moreau) section that falls within your housing assignment’s “Moreau Neighborhood,” not all sections are available to you for registration. Follow this link to find your Moreau Neighborhood and identify the Moreau course sections (FYS 10101-XX) available to you.
On your registration status page, you will see the message, "Time tickets do not allow registration at this time. Please register within these times," followed by your registration time ticket.
All registration time tickets are in Eastern Daylight Time or Eastern Standard Time (i.e., Notre Dame time), not the time where you are physically located when you are registering. Registration time tickets are randomly assigned.
While identifying your time ticket, check to see if you have any registration holds in NOVO. A hold will prevent you from registering for courses. If you have a hold, contact the office that put the hold on your account.
We recommend students attend one Q& A Session in June and one session in July. Sessions are organized by college or school and will speak explicitly about the college and major requirements and recommendations for your first year at Notre Dame.
