COMING SOON: Preparation and Planning for New Student Information Systems |
Since 2019, we have been working alongside chancellors and campus leadership in reimagining what the future of our Student Information Systems (SIS) should look like across the UT System. Selecting one, unified system for our campuses will be critical in ensuring faculty and students have seamless access to information with as little friction as possible. Ultimately, a unified SIS will also provide a more consistent and intuitive student experience focused on service excellence, increased engagement and enhanced student success outcomes.
To keep our faculty and staff up to date on our progress, we wanted to inform you that we are working alongside campus chancellors to begin the process by issuing an RFP (Request for Proposals) to begin planning and preparing for this critically important, unified SIS solution. This shift will unite five unique systems across the university into one integrated platform.

The world is rich with diversity. Life flourishes when environments are welcoming of all values.
To support an inclusive environment, but not to promote or inhibit the celebration of any religious holidays, an updated observance calendar is included in this newsletter each month. Diversity is the one thing we have in common–celebrate it every day.
View the May calendar below for a full list of observances.
