The Office of Alumni and Family Engagement invites you to join us for a complimentary professional photo opportunity for your family in honor of Commencement and your graduate. No registration is necessary, and don't worry about bringing your graduate's cap and gown, we will have one pressed and available for students to slip on. (One group photo per graduate).

Final Exams: The Final Examination Period runs from Monday, May 4, to Friday, May 15. Senior Comprehensive Examinations begin Monday, May 4, and run through Saturday, May 9, at 5:00 p.m. Non-seniors' final examination period begins Wednesday, May 6, and runs through Friday, May 15, at noon.
- Summer Break Information: Underclassmen have until 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, to depart campus housing, but moving cannot occur during the hours of Commencement (8:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.). The move-out deadline for Seniors is Sunday, May 17, at noon.

Mail Forwarding for Summer: Central Services is not able to forward any mail at the close of the semester. Please be sure your student updates their address with anyone planning to send them mail. If your student would like their mail held for the summer, they should contact hc-centralservices@haverford.edu.
- Students staying at HCA during the summer automatically maintain the same mailbox, and packages will be received (with email notifications) as usual.

Commencement Reminders: Commencement for the class of 2026 will be held on May 16, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., in the Alumni Field House. The Alumni Field House is not climate-controlled; an air-conditioned space with live streaming of the ceremony is available in Sharpless Auditorium. In the battle for the Hood Trophy, for the first time since 2019, Haverford has won the all-sports rivalry series with Swarthmore. This competition featured several milestone victories including men's lacrosse earning its Hood Trophy point for the first time since 2018 and men's basketball defeating the Garnet for the first time since 2015.
Also happening in Athletics, the College is conducting a national search to find a successor for Dr. Danielle Lynch, who departed in April 2026, with plans to have new leadership in place by the start of the fall season. Stay up to date and read more Athletics headlines →
