Important Information and Schedule/Carpool Updates for Tuesday's Christmas Pageant (PLEASE READ)
Dear St. Michael’s Families,
One of the most special ways St. Michael’s welcomes the holiday season is through our annual Christmas Pageant, featuring students in grades K-3. We are pleased to continue this cherished tradition which started at St M in the early 1970s.
The Pageant will be presented to K-3 families in the Perkinson Arts Center at 8:30 and 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 19, based on Lower School homerooms (see chart below).
- Each K-3 child is allotted six (6) guests at their designated pageant performance.
- A letter was emailed to K-3 families on December 8 that outlined pageant costume information.
As this is a chapel service and our students are presenting scripture readings and prayers, we ask that you please remain in your seats, turn off your cell phones, and refrain from photography so as to be present in the moment and not be distracting to our performers and the audience. You are invited to take photographs before and after the program. St. Michael's will also be posting photos and videos from the Pageant.
For our families in grades 4-8, students will attend classes as usual.
Below are important details for Tuesday morning:
- MORNING GYM will be offered as usual.
- This is a regular school day (with NOON dismissal) for grades 4-8. No Extended Day.
- Arrival and Parking Information:
- IMPORTANT NOTE: The BLUE CARPOOL LOOP will be CLOSED on TUESDAY to accommodate faculty parking. All families that utilize the Blue Loop for pick-up and drop-off should use the GREEN LOOP circle on Tuesday. Staff members and 5th grade helpers will be there to help guide students to their classrooms.
