With Grateful Hearts

Another joyful year has passed, So quickly time has flown.

Our Dragons learned and laughed each day, And blossomed as they’ve grown.

They filled our halls with curiosity, With kindness, joy, and cheer,

And made so many special memories, We’ll treasure year to year.

We watched them try new things with courage, Discover, dream, and soar,

And grow into more confident learners than ever before.

So now with hearts both proud and grateful, We send them on their way,

With hope and great excitement, For all that next school year will bring their way!

Wishing all of our Dragons a fun and restful break. As you leave school to enjoy the summer, may you each go with a song and a smile in your heart.

Summer Assignments Now Posted

St. Michael's has posted summer assignments and recommended reading lists for grades 1-8 via the button below, along with Fall 2026 Back to School supply lists.

You may also find this information on our website under Community/Back to School. Now that the school year is complete, our administrative team will be finalizing Back to School information. Please check the aforementioned website link again in late July for important updates.

2026 Summer Assignments and Supply Lists

PowerSchool Parent Portal: Back-to-School Forms

Student Back-to-School forms, health and athletic forms, and medical information will continue to be managed through the St. Michael's PowerSchool and Magnus Health secure databases for the upcoming school year.

All St. Michael's Health Forms and Back-to-School forms will go live for the '26-'27 school year on JUNE 12. Following the release of forms in the school database on June 12, you will be able to complete forms through the PowerSchool Parent Account that you have created. An email will go out to all St. Michael's families on that date with detailed instructions for locating the necessary forms within your PowerSchool Parent Account.

Please enter the required health information within your Magnus Health account for each child attending St M no later than August 1. Don't hesitate to get in touch with Michael Jones, Director of Technology, with any questions.

If your children in rising Grades 4-8 are playing any sports at St M, a St. Michael's Athletic Participation Form (which can be found in Magnus Health) needs to be completed by a family physician this summer.
Rising SEVENTH Grade Families: Per State Vaccine Requirements for rising 7th graders, HPV, Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis), and Meningococcal are required vaccines for children between 11 and 12 years of age in Virginia. This means children receive these vaccines going into the 7th grade. As a parent or guardian, you have the right to decide if your child receives the HPV vaccine. Please discuss this with your healthcare provider. Later this summer, seventh grade families will need to upload updated immunizations to Magnus Health in PowerSchool.

NEW FAMILIES: In early June, you will receive an email from the Admissions Office containing instructions and login instructions to our PowerSchool/Magnus Health Portal. Please contact Admissions Director Alison Roussy with any questions.

Summer Administrative Office Hours

St. Michael's will observe summer office hours starting the week of June 8.

Our Administrative Offices will be open Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. (Closed on Fridays)
St. Michael's will be CLOSED the week of July 6-10.
Our Extended Programs Summer Camp team will be working Monday-Friday (June 16-August 8) during camp hours, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
