Good Evening,

The Associated Churches' WHNH-LP (101.3fm, New Haven) goes temporarily silent over several concerns raised by the licensee. Kevin Leininger at the Fort Wayne News-Sentinel has more details.
Sarkes Tarzian's Classic Hits/WLDE (101.7fm, Fort Wayne rebrands from "Fun 101.7" to "Classic Hits 101.7" and leans more rock.
Dennis First worked for 39 years in Fort Wayne TV at what was then NBC affiliate/WKJG-TV (Channel 33, Fort Wayne), including through the 2003 call letter change from WKJG-TV to WISE-TV. Sad to report that Mr. First died on Sunday March 17 at age 75. Mr. First served "NBC33" as producer and director. Prior to Fort Wayne, Mr. First worked in Lima, Ohio (WIMA-TV), Toledo, Ohio (WDHO-TV), and Dayton, Ohio (WKEF-TV). Here's the complete obituary.
Swick Broadcasting's Hot AC/WLKI (100.3fm, Angola) welcomes Phil O'Reilly for mornings. Mr. O'Reilly also joins the talent roster on Mr. Swick's Local Radio Networks (24/7 syndicated music formats). Mr. O'Reilly last worked for WNWN (98.5fm, Coldwater, Michigan). Earlier in his career, Mr. O'Reilly worked in Fort Wayne at Country/WBTU (93.3fm, Kendallville).
Update: We recently mentioned the death of former Fort Wayne broadcaster and radio programmer John Curry. We very recently learned that he also programmed the 103.9fm up in South Bend, which was then "Zip 104" (WZZP).
Eastcentral
Scott Epic moves to middays at Rodgers Broadcasting's Hot AC/WFMG (101.3fm, Richmond) and afternoons on sister AC/WZZY (98.3fm, Winchester).
Westcentral
Kevin Berlen joins Midwest Communications, as Chief Engineer for their Evansville and Terre Haute radio clusters. A veteran engineer, Mr. Berlen gained experience at many Indiana radio stations.
