Member Memo - August 13, 2019

Assessments are now due.

Let us know if you need another form.
We will be sending our new map off to the printer in a couple of weeks. Assessments must be paid to be included on the new map.

Wine of the Month

Each month we will be posting a blog focused on one varietal...Sept. will be Gewürztraminer. We'll be sharing the details in a press release, talking about it on our podcast and including the links in our newsletter.
We want to showcase the diversity of wines you can discover along the Wine Road.
If you have Gewüztraminer you'd like us to include, please drop off a sample by Aug. 23.  You could also drop off Petite Sirah, Rousanne or Sparkling for the coming months.

Lodgings - Wine & Food Affair

Just a reminder, that if you are putting together an event "package-deal", please add it to our website by this week. We want to begin promoting our lodging offers ASAP.

Member Outreach

Our Board of Directors has kicked off an email/phone campaign. Each Board member has 18 members they are calling or emailing to introduce themselves and answer any questions you may have about Wine Road. Take advantage of that connection to ask questions, or share any concerns you have.

Pouring Opportunities

Last week we sent out details about two events hosted by Los Angles Magazine:
1. Opera on the Beach - 300 attendees, Santa Monica Pier. Sept. 28
2. LA Food -  1500 attendees, Saddlerock Ranch, Malibu.
For details: contact the organizer; Alexandria

Please remember to hit the SHARE button on our newsletter, our podcast, and our blog.

It's easy to just skim the information and move on, but if even half of our members took the extra step of hitting a share button, we could reach new people. You all have different contacts, the more you share the better.
