Grow Your HSA with Investment Options |
|
|
|
A GW Health Savings Account (HSA) is more than a way to pay for current medical expenses, it’s a powerful tool for saving and investing for the future. HSA contributions are made with pre‑tax dollars, invested funds grow tax‑free, and withdrawals for qualified healthcare expenses are also tax‑free.
Once your HSA balance reaches $1,000, you can explore investing in mutual funds through Bank of America to help your savings grow over time. Starting early allows your savings to benefit from long‑term compounding, and managing your investments online is simple. You can also use the HSA calculator to estimate the potential growth of your savings.
To learn more about Health Savings Accounts, join Bank of America’s upcoming webinar: Healthcare in retirement: Medicare and the HSA on April 21 at 2pm ET. This session will explain how HSAs work and how they can support your long-term financial and retirement strategy.
Note: Employees must be enrolled in the GW Health Savings Plan (HSP) and meet certain criteria to be eligible to contribute to an HSA.

Stand with Survivors for Sexual Assault Awareness Month |

Sexual Assault Awareness Month in April, is a time to raise awareness, support survivors, and promote prevention in our communities. It serves as a reminder that everyone has a role to play in fostering a culture of respect, consent, and accountability.
Join the movement by learning more, sharing resources, and participating in awareness activities such as Denim Day throughout the month. Small actions, such as educating yourself, supporting survivors, and speaking up against harmful behaviors, can help create safer and more supportive environments for all.
