Hello, Everyone:
Northeast
Adams Radio Group's Country/WBTU (93.3fm, Kendallville) PD/afternoon host Randy Alomar moves to middays. Night host Taylor Morgan moves to afternoons.
DTV America Corp. adds a pair of local LPTV stations: W25FH-D (Channel 43, Fort Wayne) and WODP-LD (Channel 49, Fort Wayne). Of note, W25FH-D is on RF channel 25, but displays channel 43 on your TV. These channels are over the air only, so they won't be on your cable or satellite provider if you're in the Fort Wayne area.
On W25FH-D, here is the lineup:
.1: Azteca America .2: Azteca Clic .3: Azteca Corazón .4: Infomercials.
On WODP-LD, here is the lineup:
.1: The same Infomercials as above on the .4.
.2: Infomercials.
.3: Infomercials.
.4: Color bars.
Heartland Media's FOX affiliate/WFFT-TV (Channel 55, Fort Wayne) anchor Hunter Petroviak exits FOX 55 and becomes the spokesperson for the Fort Wayne district of the Indiana Department of Transportation. Mr. Petroviak joined FOX 55 in 2018 (IRW 06/04/2018)
Federated Media's Sports/WKJG (1380am, Fort Wayne) and translator W265CY (100.9fm, Fort Wayne) drop ESPN Radio and add FOX Sports. They keep their 1380 The Fan branding, and their local sports talk (The Sports Rush with Brett Rump) continues weekdays from 4pm until 6pm. 1380 The Fan airs local sports, including high school sports. The switch happened after former FOX Sports affiliate WGL (1250am, Fort Wayne) dropped the format earlier this year, and then was sold.
Where Are They Now? Former Fort Wayne broadcaster (WJFX, WBTU) Brooke Taylor joins WSIX in Nashville, Tennessee for middays.
Northcentral
3 Towers Broadcasting's Hot AC/WROI (92.1fm, Rochester) adds HD radio, a new GatesAir Flexiva transmitter, and a brand new HD2 channel with a country format.
Northwest
Allen Media Broadcasting's CBS affiliate/WLFI-TV (Channel 18) has several changes. First off, Lon Lucas becomes News Director, after working in the same role at Quincy Media's WEEK-TV/WHOI-TV in Peoria, Illinois.
Second, anchor and reporter Jordan Burrows exits after just over two years. Mr. Burrows anchored the late evening newscasts and did reporting. Mr. Burrows joins as a reporter with KTVX-TV in Salt Lake City.
Eastcentral
IRW tips our hat to Stan Sollars, who celebrated his 51st anniversary in broadcasting. Mr. Sollars started his broadcasting career by signing on the former WDHS (91.1fm, Gaston) on November 12, 1969. Mr. Sollars was 13 years old. The first official, non-test broadcast was of a Wes-Del freshman basketball game, with the play-by-play team of Paul Parker (Superintendent) and Richard Johnson (Principal). WDHS signed off in 1987. For the past 25 years, Mr. Sollars has been a news anchor and Morning Edition local host for Indiana Public Radio, based at Ball State University.
Central
UPDATE: Former WNAP broadcaster Al Stone died. He worked at WIFE (for Star Stations) before Fairbanks Broadcasting lured him away to help start WNAP. He was 75. More recently, he owned an advertising agency and production house (King Media) in Indianapolis. He also served as writer and producer of the 2012 documentary Naptown Rock Radio Wars. Here is the complete obituary.
TEGNA's NBC affiliate/WTHR-TV (Channel 13, Indianapolis) Executive Producer Taylor Beck exits and joins sister WHAS-TV in Louisville. There, she starts today as Assistant News Director, under News Director Julie Wolfe.
Several exit at iHeart, as part of companywide layoffs. This impacts their Indianapolis cluser, which consists of:
Classic Rock/WFBQ (94.7fm, Indianapolis)
Alternative/WOLT (103.3fm, Indianapolis)
FOX Sports/WNDE (1260am, Indianapolis)
Urban/WZRL (98.3fm, Plainfield)

Where Are They Now? Former WISH-TV EP/Special Projects Dawn Clapperton becomes VP/News for WTVJ-TV (NBC 6) in Miami, Florida. Before joining WISH-TV, she also worked in South Bend (WSBT-TV) and Bloomington (WTIU-TV).
Westcentral

With everything going on earlier this year, I did not have a moment to write an obituary for a former Evansville radio owner, and I wanted to document it here.
John David Engelbrecht died in April from a massive heart attack at 68 years old. The Engelbrecht family owned WIKY (104.1fm, Evansville) through three generations. John A. Englebrecht owned WIKY (820am, Evansville) and signed it on in 1948. In 1953, he added the FM on 104.1. John A. Englebrecht died of a heart attack in 1974.
When his father died, John D. Englebrecht was running their Knoxville, Tennessee radio stations, and then ascended to the leadership while only in his mid-20s. John D. Englebrecht is part of the Evansville Business Hall of Fame and served on several corporate and non-profit boards of directors.
JP Englebrecht is John D'.s son, and he remains CEO of South Central, Inc. South Central sold their Evansville radio stations and several radio stations in Tennessee all to Midwest Communications several years ago.
WIKY memorialized their former owner, and here's the audio.
Raycom NBC affiliate/WFIE-TV (Channel 14, Evansville) reporter Aria Janel exits and joins Gray's CBS affiliate/WOIO-TV in Cleveland, Ohio in the same role.
Townsquare's AC/WJLT (105.3fm, Evansville) goes all Christmas music.
