Happy 2015!
I hope this fresh, new year is greeting you with happiness!
In just two short weeks, I will be a published author!  It's been an exciting journey.  If you recall my June newsletter when I recounted the events of Friday the 13th, it was on that day that I read the email about becoming an author with Powerful You! Publishing and decided to take action.  (June 2014 Newsletter)
Seven months later, a chapter of my journey will be published in Women Living Consciously, Book 2.  Me, a published author.  It's something I never imagined, ever.  I was also interviewed as a part of the companion telesummit and have contributed a tip to the ebook.  Exciting and busy times.

And don't forget to check out my new blog!

Igniting YOUR Transformation! Take a Break!
Last month, I wrote about having fun to recharge your battery.  This month's topic is about taking breaks - walking away from the computer, the homework assignment, the work report and gaining perspective.
Sometimes when we focus intensely on an issue to be resolved, we simply can't see (or hear) the solution.  I know this happens to me.  When I find myself frustrated because I can't solve an issue, I remind myself to simply take a break.  Walk around the house, do a load of laundry, any activity that is not related to the issue.  Your mind will relax and then your ideas will start flowing.
This recently happened to me as I approached a critical deadline.  I thought I was prepared for an event and I was not.  I was given the opportunity to reschedule the event, and I was grateful to reschedule 48 hours later to give myself a break then continue to prepare.  Which is exactly what I did.  In this midst of the angst of failure, I couldn't solve my own problem.  So I did some cooking, laundry, etc and the next morning I woke up with a solution to my problem and ideas flowing.  I had to trust the process.
So the next time you are staring at your computer screen or holding your head in your hands in sheer frustration, get up and take a break!  It will provide the perspective you need to start the ideas flowing again.
Tools You can Use!  Vision Boards for 2015!
I was thrilled to receive notes from many readers who were creating vision boards for 2015! DREAM BIG!
As I planned, I worked on my vision board on New Year's Eve and into the morning of January 1st!  Welcoming all the new energy of change and opportunity!  Honestly, I did not finish it that evening but had a plan...and I am still looking for a few pics and words to add.  If I can't find them, perhaps the Universe is providing guidance.
It's never too late to create a vision board - you can create them for any purpose - a plan for your year, your business, your vacation, etc.  It's your vision board, create the vision of your dreams, at any time!  You simply need card stock or poster board, magazines and a glue stick.  (If you have scrapbooking supplies, these make really good vision board supplies!)
While my board is not finished yet, it will be by the end of the month and I plan on hanging it in my bedroom on a blank wall over my closet.  I see this wall before I go to sleep and when I wake up.  I can spend a few minutes each day to be grateful , envisioning my 2015!
Here's my work in progress; (and yes, that wine glass is really big - LOL).

"Just wanted to take the time to thank you for the great newsletters each month! You have inspired me to make a Vision Board for 2015!"
