2025 Back-to-School Planning: Communications #1 
Dear St. Michael's Families, 
I hope this note finds you and your family enjoying some summertime fun with each other and loved ones. With the calendar at the end of July, I wanted to reach out to ensure you have everything you will need as you begin to think about Back-to-School time. All around campus, faculty, staff, and friends of the School have been busy working to prepare for an exciting 2025–2026 school year.
Below you will find important updates and information. Please note that several more communications will be sent out later in August with first week of school info, carpool instructions, and more, so please stay tuned to your email.

Lower School Meet Your Teacher Day (MYT) and Middle School Orientation Schedule: Monday, August 25

School Hours (Starting Tuesday, August 26) 

Tuesday, August 26 is the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL for ALL students and this is a HALF DAY. (Moning Gym Is OPEN. NO Afternoon Extended Day.)   
The first full day of school and first day of Extended Day is Wednesday, August 27.  
St. Michael’s school day hours for the 2025-26 school year are: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Free Morning Gym beginning at 7:20 a.m. (Drop-off in the Gym parking lot)
  • If not attending Morning Gym, the morning drop-off window is 7:45-7:55 a.m. (Students should be in their seats and ready to start the school day by 8 a.m.)
  • Afternoon pickup is between 3 p.m. and 3:15 p.m. (Any students not picked up by 3:15 p.m. will be sent to Extended Day and applicable drop-in fees will apply.)

Over the summer, St M made some small tweaks to the 2025-26 Academic Calendar.
Please note changes that are highlighted in red.

Spiritwear Website and Back-to-School Pop-Up Shop  
Be sure to check out our School spiritwear website for exciting St M apparel. Sizing info is included with each item.  
  • IMPORTANT NOTE: If you order apparel at the online shop (button link below) by WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 13, your items will be ready for pick-up at our Back-To-School Pop-Up Shop on Orientation Day, August 25. 
  • Stay tuned for more info on the Pop-Up Shop. Show your DRAGON PRIDE and come ready to shop! PLEASE NOTE, SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED! (Given the wide range of sizes, apparel items should be ordered directly from the website below. That said, we will also have some new t-shirt designs in both youth and adult sizes for sale at the Pop-Up Shop!)
Show your Dragon pride! FRIDAYS at St M are Dragon Dress Days, whereby students and faculty may wear St M apparel above the waist. We love seeing all the blue and white on our students!
Online Spiritwear Shop: Order By August 13

Hot Lunch Program    

We’re excited to welcome back our lunchtime partner, Schoolhouse Fare. Schoolhouse Fare offers an easy-to-choose Lunch Calendar where you can schedule lunches for the next week or month. 
Lunch ordering for the last week of August and September will open on Wednesday, August 13. 
The first date of lunch delivery will be Wednesday, August 27, the first full day of school.
Stay tuned for more information, including registration information and the fall restaurant lineup! 
IMPORTANT NOTE: Every day of the school year, ALL students should bring a water bottle and a nut-free snack. (No glass water bottles, please.)
Back to School Health and Info Forms Were DUE August 1
St. Michael's collects all student medical information via our secure online database. Parents must enter and update the required information for each child this summer through the Magnus Health online portal (instructions below) accessed from your PowerSchool Parent account. 
Please complete these required forms ASAP if your family has not already done so.  
BACK TO SCHOOL FORMS
Carpool Placard Count AND Carpool Requests Due by Noon, August 8 (Every family needs to complete this form)
The safety and security of all the students in our care are always a priority at St. Michael's. As part of our updated 2025-26 security protocols, EVERY St M family needs to read and complete the carpool placard form below by August 8. 
Separately, if your family will be part of an organized carpool for the 2025-26 school year, you must also submit your carpool information to the School via the link below by August 8 so that participating families can be assigned to the same carpool loop.
Families will receive carpool placards at Lower School Meet Your Teacher Day/Middle School Orientation (August 25) or on the first day of school if you cannot attend.

Directory Updates Needed by September 1
Did you move this summer? Has your email or phone number changed? Do you want School communications to go to a new email address?
Please send any changes by Monday, September 1, as we are finalizing the School directory. Returning families need only to review their current listing (in last year's directory) and forward all new/corrected information via the form in the button below. Thank you!
