On July 1, E.W. Scripps' ABC affiliate WRTV-TV (Channel 6, Indianapolis) canceled their "Good Morning Indiana" weekend morning newscasts, after nearly five years. The one hour break on Saturday allowed WRTV to carry "Good Morning America." When "Good Morning Indiana" debuted on September 7, 2013, "RTV6" added eight employees.
