This procedural clarification is a continuation of the procurement process updates that were mentioned in a campus-wide memo on December 21, 2023.
Effective as of April 1, 2024, all state- and research-funded software, databases, and cloud-based/on-prem applications will require an EIT/InfoSec review and should be submitted on a Service Request Form. This also includes renewals.
Non-encumbered payment forms should NOT be used.
These reviews will entail additional documentation from vendors, such as VPATs and HECVATs, which can be conveniently accessed through the provided links. Given the potential time required to obtain this documentation, please plan your submissions accordingly. If you have any questions, please reach out to us:
