You did it!

You're in the home stretch of a challenging time for all of us.  Be proud of yourself and your accomplishments, and how you weathered the pandemic this academic year.  We can't wait to see you again!
People you should know!

Meet Michael McLain, Library Services Desk Assistant

How I help students: I work at the Library Services Desk on the main floor. I can help you if you are having difficulty in locating a book, DVD, or anything else in the library collection. I will also be able to assist you with answering basic reference questions and helping you locate the information you need.
Fun fact: One of my hobbies is collecting vintage comic books.

Get help now and in the future

Beyond your first year, we recommend that you contact a subject liaison librarian based on the specific needs of your courses, projects, and assignments.  Find our contact information through Get Research Help. We're all here to help!

Don't forget that the library's website has more information about the resources and services to help you succeed academically. Let us know if you have questions.

Find your pathway: Library databases

Many students have their favorite databases (JSTOR anyone?), but remember to use a variety of search tools when doing scholarly research.

The Research by Subject guides link you to subject-specific databases that can really streamline your searching.  Contact your librarian if you need help!

Need help citing sources?  See examples of various styles (e.g. MLA, APA, Chicago/Turabian) on our Citation Guides and information about citation management tools such as RefWorks and Zotero.
