Today is the last day to register kids for Gospel and Games!  Click  here to register your child. If you have signed up to volunteer, check your email. Pastor Dawn sent an email checking in with all the volunteers. Let her know if you did not receive an email but would like to volunteer. And don't forget, everyone is invited to our closing meal and game night Wednesday, June 22 @ 5:30. We do ask that you RSVP for the Wednesday meal so we know how much to prepare. RSVP here by June 20. 
Registered Gospel and Games children and families don't need to RSVP.

This Sunday we will continue our "I've Got a Question" worship series. Each Sunday a panel from our congregation will engage in conversation around the questions you have sent in. There is no way to answer them all and quite frankly one Sunday morning isn't even enough for some of the questions, but we look forward to thinking deeply about our faith in this way. We will close out this series with a night of conversation Wednesday, June 29 @ 5:30. Bring a snack to share and come be in conversation with Pastor Dawn and others around all we heard and asked and lifted.

Parkway Hills UMC Volunteers (back row) John Reed, Joe Williams, Jerry Sandlin, (front row) Jeannie Chunn and Juliet Huam presented a $3,200.00 check to Pastor Lori Till, (center) of Galloway UMC's Grace Place this morning on behalf of PHUMC Homeless Ministry to aid Grace Place in its work for the homeless.
Going along with our June "I've Got a Question" worship series, we will gather in the Garden Room at 5:00pm to discuss Brian McLauren's new book, Do I Stay Christian? Let Pastor Dawn know if you need childcare. Purchase a book and join us June 26; bring your favorite snack to share.
Volunteers Needed at MadCAAP!!!
MadCAAP needs volunteers to help shoppers in their "Clothing Closet" on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Mondays of each month.  If you can serve between the hours of 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. on those days, please email them at madcaap@bellsouth.net or call 601-407-1404 and let them know!

Habitat is resuming their work and currently working on rehabbing a house. Below are the dates and times for shifts. Reach out to Callie Ainsworth for more info and to volunteer. And be on the lookout for information on the next Habitat for Humanity Women's Build beginning in July. This year's Women's build will be in loving memory of former First Lady Elise Varner Winter.

Senior Adult Spiritual Retreat: We are making plans to partner with other area UMCs to attend the “Festival of Wisdom and Grace” at Lake Junaluska, NC, August 1-4, 2022 for worship, workshops, recreation, and entertainment at the beautiful Lake Junaluska Conference and Retreat Center. Participants will explore how to flourish as they navigate transitions, live into talents and passions, and cultivate their relationship with Christ in the second half of life.
