Located about an hour south of Atlanta amid oak forests and pecan groves, a Western-style luxury ranch just opened its doors to welcome guests. Decades ago, the family-owned Quercus served as a cattle ranch, and now visitors can explore its four thousand acres by foot and horseback. Chef Ryan Smith of Atlanta’s acclaimed Staplehouse helms the on-site restaurant. “We’re not hoteliers or restaurateurs, but we love having our friends over, and we love to entertain,” says Quercus owner Chiara Visconti di Modrone.
