The Art of Listening: WRJ and You

The registration deadline for Kallah has been extended!
REGISTER BY OCTOBER 8

Due to many requests, the deadline for registration has been extended. Rooms are still available; please submit your registration form to Marsha Moller no later than October 8.

Here's another peek at Kallah programming...

NARAL Pro-Choice

We are thrilled that Liz Gustafson of NARAL Pro-Choice Connecticut will present on Saturday afternoon. Liz will focus on current issues concerning women’s reproductive rights and what we can do as sisterhoods and individuals to help bring about change. In keeping with our Kallah theme, “The Art of Listening – WRJ and You,” Liz will also guide us on ways to manage opposing views and turn them into constructive conversations.

Pack your yoga mats!

Bonnie Heft of Temple B'nai Chaim (Georgetown, CT) will lead a Yoga Nidra practice on Saturday afternoon. This optional session is a refreshing dream-like rest guided by Bonnie. The practice starts with a 5-minute explanation and a 20-30 minute rest on mats or towels. Participants should bring a yoga mat (if you have one) or towel, blanket, and one or two pillows. Comfortable clothing is recommended. Perfect for Shabbat!

YES Fund Fun

Learn about the YES Fund and how to play Yiddish Bingo. You don’t need to know a word of Yiddish, but you will have fun raising money for the YES Fund in addition to hearing the meanings of the words that bubbes have used for centuries. Remember to bring cash, checks, and/or credit cards for great prizes and special auction items. All proceeds will go to the YES Fund.

If you have not done so already, don't delay... Sign up for Kallah NOW!
