Tell us about your best remote day at work.
It starts with a good cup of coffee. It used to be something I picked up on the way into work, but now I’ve figured out how to make it perfectly at home. I made a little saying “Today is like coffee, it will be as good as you make it.” to start my day on a positive note. I check in with my project teams and coaching clients. What improvements are they making? What progress is being made? If I can help them overcome challenges, it makes for a great day. In the PMO, we also make time for the lighter side of work. We have “happy half hours” twice a week to check-in and send fun messages through Teams to stay connected. I actually feel more connected with all of us working remotely. We were all spread out and in different locations before. Now we are all “virtual” together.
