PUGM Set

Equinox is proud to know and work with Cory Franceschi who is pictured here with his grandchildren Sophia, Roc, Miles, and Brian (“B”) (left to right). Fun fact: Cory attended his first TeleLink User Group Meeting (TUGM) in April 2012, which is the last TUGM Equinox held at its office before reintroducing the event at the Music City Center in 2018.
As an active participant at the last three consecutive Equinox user groups, Cory Franceschi is the real deal! He uses Protector AND TeleLink like a boss and is always willing to deliver a case study for the Equinox community. He also shares our belief that family comes first. Those are just a few reasons the latest Equinox customer spotlight shines on Cory.

With 32 years telecom experience under his belt, Cory is a valued member of the Equinox community. He says Equinox user groups “are GREAT. Without a doubt, the best part is interacting and brainstorming with folks from both Equinox and other companies! Everyone is so friendly and willing to help with any issues. You have the opportunity to learn so much from all the attendees. The presentations lead to some great discussions and excellent feedback. The meetings offer detailed training and are VERY informative.”

At his current company for 11 years already, Cory uses both Protector and TeleLink to fulfill his duties in the Telecom Management Group. Cory explains why autoblocking is Protector’s most beneficial feature. Since they began using Protector in 2017, this feature has kept damages to a minimum especially after regular business hours when fraud is so prevalent. Cory and team have relied on TeleLink since 2010. While they relish its mediation and reporting functions, they describe the system’s tremendous troubleshooting capabilities as an essential asset. TeleLink gives Cory and the whole department real-time insight into traffic management concerns and issues so they can respond efficiently and effectively.

According to Cory, the Equinox team is, “personable and incredibly down to earth. The entire team is so helpful and able to explain concepts in an approachable manner. It is nice they ask how my family and wife are doing rather than starting a support call with “what’s your issue?”.”

Cory likes sports and the outdoors but says his favorite hobby is being with his family. He loves spending time at his camp with his wife Sherlene, his three grown daughters, and their families. He cherishes every minute he gets to spend with his four grandchildren—ranging in age from 2 to 13 years old—watching them play hockey, kayaking, or taking them fishing.

We thoroughly enjoy working with Cory and invite you to get to know him better at the next Equinox function. Many thanks to Cory for all his contributions to the Equinox community!
